Fundamentals for conducting field inspections for newly installed, modified and upgraded fire alarm systems:
This class will focus on the requirements and procedures for conducting field inspections of newly installed, modified and upgraded fire alarm system by the AHJ.
Topics will include:
- Shop Drawings / Permit Drawings
- Record / Close-out Documentation
- Qualifications for System Installers and Programmers
- Confirming the Sequence of Operation
- Fire alarm Control Unit panel functions and bypass functions
- Verification of End-of-Line devices
- Amplifier loads of Speaker Audible Circuits
- Measuring decibel levels of audible notification appliances
Fire Sprinkler Panel/Forum
Sprinkler Fitters Staff 8am-10am & 10am-12pm
The Fire Sprinkler Forum features a two-part demonstration that includes the identification of system valves and types of sprinkler systems, as well as a Victaulic Vortex training session. Each session lasts two hours and will take place in a classroom setting, incorporating a live demonstration as well.
